LeagueCipher
Daily NRL Player Cipher

FAN PROJECT

Built for NRL fans who enjoy deduction games

LeagueCipher turns rugby league player knowledge into a daily deduction game built around clue feedback, snapshot fairness, and spoiler-free competition.

What LeagueCipher is

LeagueCipher is a daily NRL player guessing game built around deduction rather than instant recognition. Players use clue feedback from each guess to narrow down the hidden answer, compare results with other players, and come back for a fresh challenge each day.

The site is designed to be quick to pick up, satisfying to solve, and easy to share without spoiling the answer for everyone else.

Built for clue-based solving, not stat overload.

What LeagueCipher is not

LeagueCipher is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with the NRL, any club, or any official rights holder.

The game avoids official logos, player photos, and other visual shortcuts so the experience stays cleaner, more deduction-focused, and less dependent on protected league or player imagery.

How the daily modes work

LeagueCipher uses separate daily modes so players can choose the type of solve they want, whether that is a more accessible deduction run, a tighter challenge, or a club-focused variation.

Easy

Easy is the more accessible daily player mode. It is built to give players a smoother entry point into the clue system while still rewarding real NRL knowledge and good deduction.

Resets daily at 6:00am Sydney time.

Hard

Hard is the tougher daily player mode. It keeps the same core solving concept but asks more from the player, making it better suited to those who want a more demanding clue path.

Resets daily at 6:00pm Sydney time.

ClubCipher

ClubCipher is a separate mode with its own solving flavour, built around club-based logic while still sitting inside the broader LeagueCipher experience.

Resets daily at 9:00am Sydney time.

Why the game is built this way

Snapshot-based fairness

LeagueCipher uses a fixed player-data snapshot so puzzle outcomes stay stable even when real-world team or player details change. That keeps the daily solve fairer and more consistent.

Spoiler-free competition

Share output is built to let players compare results without exposing the answer early. That keeps the daily puzzle fun for everyone else still playing.

Deduction over visual giveaways

The experience is intentionally built around clues, comparisons, and narrowing the field, rather than relying on player photos, club branding, or instant visual recognition.

Lightweight and repeatable

LeagueCipher is designed to be quick to load, easy to replay the next day, and simple to maintain as a focused static game project.

Who LeagueCipher is for

LeagueCipher is built for rugby league fans who enjoy spotting patterns, comparing knowledge with mates, and solving something in a few focused minutes rather than sitting through a bloated trivia format.

It is meant to feel sharp, replayable, competitive, and easy to come back to as part of a daily routine.

Fast to play. Satisfying to solve. Easy to share.
